Sam I Am Gets $1Million Dollars
Sam McKay is a remarkable young man, but He doesn't like green eggs and ham. Not even in a box with a fox... I already asked. Yes, I really did.
Sam is ten years old, and he and his little brother beg their dad to bring them to the LOT Project whenever possible.
Watching them play with the other kids at the LOT reminds me a bit of being in the middle of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
Sam loves the LOT Project so much, that when asked in a writing prompt for school what he would do with a million dollars he wrote the following:
The LOT Project is a great place to donate to. In fact, I am going to donate $1million dollars to it. So here is how it works: We get everything ready and at 4:30 we let the homeless people come in. When they come in they are given a plastic shopping bag, they can fill it with clothes pants or tooth brushes, Crest tooth paste and rinse to keep their teeth clean.
In fact, I am going to make it a better place by buying leather North-Face Jackets, tooth paste, Everlast workout pants, and lots of food such as milk, apples, and cereal such as Wheaties Fuel, Apple Jacks, Honeynut Cherios and Mini Wheats. I would also get pencils, Folders, shoes, books, and a teacher that would teach them how to use iPads, iPhones, iPod touches and Samsung Motorolas and motorcycles with really good, natural safety. I would offer them their dream jobs and make room for them in apartments and school.
I would also make them comfortable in apartments and cities. They should be able to believe in the Lord God Almighty. You can always help someone who needs help, right? Well that's what I say, so start helping! Why can't they be treated well? It's because nobody cares! I want them to be, so I am going to donate $1million dollars to it (The LOT Project)! Today is the day they are going to get realized in our community, our state, our country, our continent, the world! I am tired of people treating them (homeless and needy) very very badly, and calling them bad things.

That is truly the benevolent spirit of Christmas, Sam. We can't wait for you to get your $1 million dollars!
